Framboises are produced with the same Kriek process but cherries are replaced with raspberries, generally frozen to improve their extraction. The taste of the framboise is drier than the Kriek one, characterized by a more aggressive acidity due to cherries. The raspberry is the true protagonist of the olfactory scents of this beer, always accompanied by the typical animal and stable hints of the lambic. In addition to these two fruit beers, now in the Pajotteland area are also produced, with the same method, beers with apricots, grapes, grape must and many other fruits.
